Dajuanay Phillips, LPC

Adolescent Therapist in Texas | In-Person & Online Counseling at The Balancing Place

Hey, I'm Dajuanay Phillips, LPC!

I’m Dajuanay Phillips, an LPC (Supervised by Regina Buchanan, LPC-S), specializing in supporting adolescents through the ups and downs of teen life. I work with teens navigating challenges like peer pressure, academic stress, self-esteem, identity exploration, family conflict, and emotional regulation.

My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and more confident in how you handle what life throws your way—while building skills that make day-to-day life feel more manageable.

What you can expect in a session with me: a safe, supportive space to show up as your true, authentic self, a customized journey tailored just for you (with a little humor along the way), and engaging activities that help you express what’s hard to put into words. Together, we’ll focus on real relief and building a more fulfilling life.

I decided to become a therapist because I’m passionate about helping others find their way to happiness and wholeness. To me, therapy is like a gentle yet steady compass—it guides, empowers growth, and cultivates resilience. Your journey is leading you here… so welcome.

Outside of therapy, you’ll probably find me at brunch with the girls, trying out new viral TikTok cooking recipes, or heading to my favorite hot pilates or barre class.
